House plans marked up and provided for approval.

Rough-In
Installation of indoor unit, ducting, pipe and cable prior to sheeting.

2nd Visit
Cutting out and preparing all the internal grills.
Step 5
Final Stage
Fit off grills and commissioning of the outdoor unit.

Handover
Handover to builder with all warranty documents.
Drain Requirements
Builders plumber to provide one way valve tundish at location of laundry or bathroom sink.
Extract From BCA regarding condensate Discharge
“Condensate drain outlet shall discharge outside the air-handling plant via effective air-break in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.2 to tundish drain to enable the flow of the condensate to be assessed during inspection . The drainage system shall be trapped and provided with the inspections ports for cleaning and checking of the condensate flow.”

Outdoor unit cannot sit above 1.8m off the floor unless it has been council approved.
Electrical Isolation Switch Requirements from builder’s electrician:
- Single Phase System 32A breaker 6mm cable
- Three Phase System 25A breaker 4mm cable
Grills & Wall Controls
Grills
- Alignment of grills inline with the lights, centre of bulkhead or as is practical
- Bulkhead grills will require a 200mm face
Wall Controls
If the location is beside the intercom, this will require the wall to be chased by builder, or a conduit installed if there is no wall cavity.

Trunking runs need to be on a straight run down, if bricks are clean or rendered and painted we will fix first length of trunking to secure our pipes from being stolen. If the bricks are not cleaned and not painted we will do complete this on Fit off Stage.

We accepted a quote from Patric and the work was scheduled within a few days. We were kept informed every step of the way by email and text.On the day of installation the team arrived on time and the workmanship was professional and efficient. The installers took photos of every aspect of the completed work. Kept the work area clean and removed all of the old split system and rubbish.He operation of the new air conditioner was explained and demonstrated.We would gladly recommend the Paragon Air-conditioning team.

Ali provided great advice and worked closely with me on issues like type and placement of the external unit, best location for the internal unit, and the aesthetics and locations for the outlets and the return air duct.The external placement and internal ducting etc was an important issue because of the need to get approval from the Body Corporate. Ali provided me with all the technical specifications and a summary of the work to be performed. As a result, I was able to have my proposal approved within two weeks.The guys who did the installation were friendly and courteous. The installation was completed within one day and was done just two weeks after I obtained the body corporate approval.I’m very happy with the product and I feel much more comfortable in my own home now that I have the system installed.
